Container Options

We have the right size recycling container for every need. United Recycling & Container offers several sizes of clean and well maintained roll-off recycling containers, including 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 yards.

There are many factors that influence the size of container that we will provide, including the:

  • Type of materials
  • Quantity of materials; and
  • Estimated total weight of the materials and container (must not exceed 10 tons or 20,000 pounds to comply with WSDOT road restrictions)

A 16 yard container holds 16 cubic yards of material, equivalent to about 5 full pickup truck loads. General dimensions for this container are 14 feet long by 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.

What it’s good for: A 16 yard container is typically perfect for a small to medium patio, fence or garage remodel, as well as heavy items like broken concrete from removing a small driveway.

 


20 yard recycling container20 Cubic Yard Container

A 20 yard container holds 20 cubic yards of material, equivalent to about 7 full pickup truck loads. General dimensions for this container are 18 feet long by 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.

What it’s good for: A 20 yard container is typically perfect for a large basement or attic or garage remodel, as well as heavy items like broken concrete from removing a small driveway.


25 yard recycling container 25 Cubic Yard Container

A 25 yard container holds 25 cubic yards of material, equivalent to about 9 full pickup truck loads. General dimensions for this container are 20 feet long by 8 feet wide by 4 feet high.

What it’s good for: A 25 yard container could be the right size for a large deck removal or 3,000 square feet of single-layer roof shingles.

A 35 yard container holds 35 cubic yards of material, equivalent to about 13 full pickup truck loads. General dimensions for this container are 20 feet long by 8 feet wide by 6 feet high.

What it’s good for: A 35 yard container usually the right size for a contractor building a new home or a small brush removal project.

A 40 yard container holds 40 cubic yards of debris, equivalent to about 16 full pickup truck loads. General dimensions for this container are 18 feet long by 8 feet wide by 8 feet high.

What it’s good for: A 40 yard container is great for a window or siding replacement of a large home, commercial roof tear off or commercial construction and demolition. It is also commonly used to haul large amounts of brush and landscape debris.

A 50 yard container holds 50 cubic yards, equivalent to about 20 fill pick up truck loads. 50 yard container can hold 10-12 tons. General dimensions for this container are 22.5 feet long by 8 feet wide by 6 feet high.
